Kimmy & Jonathan met during a musical production of Legally Blonde — and from the very first scene, Kimmy knew exactly how their story would end. The moment she saw Jon, she told herself, “I’m going to marry that man.” Fast forward six and a half years, and she did just that — on a summer day filled with joy, tears, and music at their beautiful Clarks Landing wedding in Point Pleasant, NJ.

A Proposal Straight Out of a Rom-Com

Their engagement story is something you’d expect in a movie (and we’re here for it). Jon got down on one knee in front of the iconic LOVE sign in Philadelphia, while both of their families hid in the bushes to witness the big moment. It was heartfelt, personal, and just so them. From that day forward, the countdown began to what would become a beautiful Clarks Landing wedding they’d always dreamed of.

A Ceremony Full of Emotion

They chose not to do a first look — saving that magical moment for the walk down the aisle. And wow, was it worth it. As Kimmy appeared at the top of the aisle, glowing with joy, Jon couldn’t hold back his tears. It was real, raw, and one of the most emotional moments we’ve ever witnessed at a beautiful Clarks Landing wedding. Every guest felt the love between them in that instant.

It wasn’t just the couple that made this wedding special — it was their families, too. Both of their families were absolutely wonderful — warm, funny, and clearly so proud. You could feel the support and closeness surrounding Kimmy and Jon like a cozy blanket. As musicians, Kimmy and Jon added a deeply personal touch to their reception. Kimmy sang a song for her new husband that brought the whole room to a hush — and later, Jon picked up his bass and played for her in return.
