Jillian & Richard Wedding – Video
I am a secret romantic. I don’t like any romantic gestures, like flowers, chocolates or surprises. I’m the oldest child, so I really don’t like surprises. I do, however, admire watching couples be genuinely sweet towards each other. The boy that carefully helps his girl across a small stream. The man that will chase his lady loves hat that blew off of her head. The older couple that sneaks gentle kisses in public. Jillian and Richard are these kind of people. He has an accent and a politeness that only Southern boys posses and she has a shy and gentle beauty that reminds you of springtime. They chose a whimsical garden wedding venue in Elizabethtown, PA called Moonstone Manor. There was so much beauty tucked away in every corner of this venue. You really can feel the magic all around. We were able to use our drone to capture all the beauty of this venue.
Richard is a truck driver with a beautiful classic red Peterbilt truck that he wanted featured in the video. Once we saw the truck in person, we knew why. They had lined up all of his friends big rigs along the driving path of the Manor and it was set up for a great photo and video opportunity. Jillian had surrounded the path to the ceremony with photo memories of her parents. The Ceremony was conducted by a tattooed gentleman with perfect pompadour hair and a mischievous humor. Instead of a candle lighting or sand ceremony, the couple poured themselves a jack and coke. Just before the new couple was to kiss, their officiant shared the beautiful song lyrics of Justine Bieber, which made the crowd chuckle.
Sometimes, when recording video we catch some great words from the groom wearing the hidden jacket microphone. They forget for just a moment, that their every word is being recorded. There is a moment, right before they kissed, where time stood still and you can hear Richard tell his new bride, “I waited a long time for this.” My eyes get misty every time I watch this video. Their wedding was a true love story and we were so happy to deliver a highlight video that captured their fairytale.
